The McDonough County Voice - Macomb, IL

Historic 4th of July at Clayville, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 4, Clayville Historic Site, one mile east of Pleasant Plains on Route 125. Re-creation of 1842 the Broadwell family party with artillery, bands, speeches, and food and refreshments.

Every second Friday of the month, the Bookworm Bakery and Cafe hosts the Rockford Certified Slam; the only event of its kind on Rockford. We always have a feature poet, some of them nationally known.
